LRP team discovered recently the presence of long-range attraction in suspensions of micro-particles made of complex polyelectrolytes. These properties open the way to new applications.
These properties open the way to new applications for this kind of microparticles: e.g. drug delivery systems, as we can imagine to tune these attractions. However the physical origin of these attractions is an open question. The objective of the internship is to better understand these attractions by a characterization with optical tweezer, rheometry, and in electric fields of different systems.
This Master internship could be followed into a PhD within the same research area.
Background and skills expected :
Soft matter physics, Material science, colloids
Internship offered to:
- Soft Nano Graduate School students
- master 2 students
